What colors are you Christmas Tree Ornaments ?

And my answer is: gold and red .. i like it more than silver and red.. which are the basic colors for ornaments on the market stands around here. Also our lights are just white.. which sux.. so we might buy new colorful lights that go on and off with music:) We'll check the prices this weekend:)Anyway that's about it.. now it's your turn:)

Random Tuesday Thoughts!!!

OK so it's Tuesday...than randomness it is:)

Now let us start:

* The Christmas Market officially opened yesterday. My husband and i went downtown and wandered about around the stands.. they were all smelling so merry and so Christmasy. Ginger bread men, sweet popcorn and mulled wine all over the stands were drawing us closer and closer. We ate some fries with hot-dogs and then got some sweet popcorn on the way home. yummm

* I'm sick of Civil Law... i can't wait to be over with this and start something more interesting.. how do law students do it... i will never understand:P

* the cleaning lady just fell of the stairs with the bucket and mops :):) oh she so deserves it.. spiders' curse lady:P (she's fine don't worry.. i checked that:))

* my husband and I are invited to his company Christmas Party .. this so reminds me of a Friends episode when Monica and Chandler went to a dinner party at Chandler's boss... and they both do the fake laugh and be all weird.. after that i guess i might just start practicing the fake laugh:)

* Oh when do you guys start decorating for Christmas.. i SO feel the need to decorate right now.. listen to carols and bake cookies.. is it too early???

The Day I (almost) Burned Our House!

Ha!! i wish this wouldn't be true.. but funny like that it kinda is:P so lemme start with the beginning:
remember how i say that i love to light candles all over the house? see where this goes to?? oh you haven't heard it yet.. so patience.. it will get there.. ok so i lighted candles all over the house ... it was smelling like vanilla .. all was happy in the world... at some point i felt it started smelling like hot iron.. and i was like.. hmm that's not good.. cause we don't do horseshoes in here:P.. so i started tracing the smell.. heeey what would you think??? one of the wacky candles in a metal candle holder was going out of the loop and started a small flame.. but being close to the wall i was kinda worried.. but as stupid as i was i didn't take the candle holder away from the wall and put it a safe place to stop the small flame.. instead i yelled for a towel!!!!.. husband ran to get me the said towel.. but what my smarty pants freaking out does meanwhile???.. yup.. grab a glass of water instead... you see where this goes??? ok hang in here for a while... so i grabbed the glass of water and without hesitation i started pouring over the small flame.... the second i was doing that i heard the voice in my head saying:
..."darn you screwed up this time.. you know you shouldn't have poured water over an open flame.. remember??? you've read about this a couple of months ago in an article.. that's why you asked for a towel in the first place... remember??? remember???"
And as this small annoying voice was running in the back of my mind.. i see it started... a huge flame started spreading over the whole wall to the ceiling and moving on.. i was just numbed i couldn't move .. my husband yelled to get out of there... while running towards me(like in the movies:P)and i was just staring at it thinking .. "wow this would be a great movie effect!"... i know as stupid as that:P
anyway 5 seconds later.. it stopped(thank God before reaching the electric sockets .. otherwise we would have had a big movie effect.. remember??).. i was still there staring.. my husband made it to me and got me away from it.. asked me if i was ok.. i was .. and i didn't even have the all burned out hair like in the movies:P... bummer right??:):):)
anyway now we're left off with a huge flame spot all over our wall and ceiling... shit.. we need to paint again... so after letting it dry for a few minutes then wiped the wall and the ceiling with a soft clean cotton cloth we started painting:P happy times.. i get so grumpy when i paint.. especially the ceilings:P anyway.. long story short.. at first hand it was getting gray (remember how the black and white turns out gray?? yeah it does:P) but then third hand everything was starting getting a white shade.... now today i have to get another coat and see if the gray truly disappears..

All in all .. lesson learned... water doesn't extinguish the fire... try a towel .. faster next time:P Also.. i can do movies effects just as easy:) but i don't think anyone cares for that:):):)

So this was the day i almost burned the house... technically i actually did it, not almost did it.. but it sounds better this way:)

Oh i gotta go now.. work and paint job.. that sounds like a dread full day to me:P

Now my Question here is:

What do you give as gifts for a baby shower?


And my answer is: I literally don't know. I have some thoughts.. but i don't know what a new mommy would expect. Would she want something useful for the new baby? Or would she want something decorative and cute? Then again if she had another kid before this one, she probably already has all the basic things she need for this baby too.. so i should stick with the decorative cute things... then again what if we have different tastes? or what if we don't? ... what would a new mommy want for her baby shower???
Please help people!!! USEFUL vs. DECORATIVE&CUTE .. which one?!?!

* Today is rainy so therefore I'm quite sleepy and bummed out!

*On the other hand my period doesn't help me much with being more positive than that:P ah how i hate my periods.. especially the night cramps.. argh...

* but vanilla and cinnamon apple candles do help a little. I light them all around the house... oh and it makes me feel so serene and relaxed:)

* last night i was hanging around with some cool DIY sellers and let me just tell you how cool it was:) it was fun to share experiences and tips.. :)

* Oh I've been through hell this past week... the week before that, one of my tooth broke down while i was eating and i had to take it out.. together with some other resection surgeries i was having planned this past week anyway... crazy.. i hate this unplanned expensive shits!

* we watched "Burn after reading" last night... what kind of crappy nonsense movie is that??? it makes no sense... and when you think the action will hopefully happen, they just end up the movie with the conclusion " we have to be careful next time "... seriously?!?!

*I'm out with random.. actually i am so full of random right now that i guess i better shake it off.. so for that reason I'm out people!

Now my Question here is:


What is your choice of stuffing for the Thanksgiving turkey ?

I've been so hungry this past week..that's mainly because i could only drink liquids.. but I'm already dreaming of the Thanksgiving turkey... and i kind of consider making a Thanksgiving chicken.. i prefer chicken to turkey.. but we'll see.. I only have one problem.. what stuffing do i choose??? i was thinking of a combination of red apple, caramelized onions, rosemary and seasoning salts. Now I'm wondering what's your choice of stuffing??? Please do share!!!
