Well most of the times it's a DIY project in here:) ha ha But if there's a special occasion or a reshape needed, then we're happy to bring some business to the nice lady at the beauty salon. How To Remove The Posting Date

Hi all! Are you ready for a new blog tutorial here at Design It Chic!?! Then let's get going! Today's tutorial will be focusing on making our blogs look more professional, so the topic for today is: how to remove the posting date. This will definitely help you free up some space in the most visually targeted spot on your blog, as well as make your overall blog look more professionally:)

1. First thing, you need to sign in your blog's "Dashboard" and then go to "Design" and hit the "Page Elements" tab.

2. Now scroll down and hit the "Edit" button on the "Blog Posts" area.

3. A pop-up window will open. Next thing, you will need to unmark the first and the third bullet and then hit "Save".

4. Now make sure to click the "Save" button in the "Add and Arrange Page Elements" area, and you're done.

That's it! No more dates and other unnecessary lines that occupy space and distract attention from the posts. Hope this little tutorial will help you on the way of getting your blog look a little more professional and have fun with it:)

We're such a huge fan of TV comedy series, sitcoms and shows. We love comedy movies as well, but unlike movies, the series on TV keep going longer, and that only means more laughs:) The Office, Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Cougar Town and sitcoms like Friends and Seinfeld, they're just so much entertainment:) But if we get tickets to Jeniffer Aniston & Ben Stiller's "Just go with it" new movie, we won't say no to that:) Now feel free to share your favorite one here with us and also find out what other fellow bloggers like most too:) Let the fun begin!

Add a header to your blog

Hi all! Are you ready for a new blog tutorial here at Design It Chic!?! All right, then let's get down to business! Many of you have asked about this one, so without further ado, the topic for today is: how to add a header to your blog. So here's the chance to get rid of that old school text to the top of your blog:)

1. First thing you need to create a header of 760px wide either using a free software like GIMP or a paid software like Photoshop or you can simply pay a small fee to a designer to create it for you. Once you have the header image, here's how you can install it in your blog without it interfering with your blog title.

2. You need to sign in your blog's Dashboard first and then go to Design.

3. Now hit the "Edit" button on the "(Header)" area. A pop-up window will open. You will need to mark the "From your computer" bullet and add the image from where you have it saved on you computer.

4. Then make sure you check the "Instead of title and description" option.

5. And now click Save.

That's it! You can now enjoy your new header without the fuss of having to deal with that old school text in your header area. Hope this little tutorial will help you have more fun with your blogs and enjoy every single bit of it:)

Pro or anti Valentine's Day?

We're very supportive of Valentine's Day around here, and even if this celebrating had become ever so popular thanks to great marketing campaigns out there, let's be honest ladies, does it matter the reason, if we get to receive something?:) Seriously this is one of the 3 times a year when we can snatch that expensive pair of shoes or allow ourselves to not clean the house and let the kids stay with their grandparents for a change or something fancy like that. How can we refuse that, right?!?:) And since Christmas and Birthday felt alone and bored just the two of them, we decided to add Valentine's Day to join the fun party.
