RTT.. coming back

OK so it's Tuesday...than randomness it is:)
If you don't know what Random Tuesday Thoughts means, head over to The UnMom and you'll figure out quickly.

Now let us start:

* first off.. every day for the past couple of months i had to wake up at 6:00am and trust me i hate waking up early. i had to do husband's lunch bag and all these kind of crap... i love doing crap(don't get me wrong).. just that if i could only sleep until at least 7:00 am.. that would be great thank you!

* our neighbors next door moved out.. so sad btw.. they were the only neighbors we were getting along with.. so will miss them.. now we have new neighbors.. let's see what weirdos will we have to live next to for another while(people move in and out pretty often around here ..so yeah probably it's not gonna last for these new guys either)

* and speaking of neighbors.. is it weird that i am interested in their family names??? every time i pick up my mail.. i look at the names written on the other mail boxes.. i often find funny names and i try to figure out who's who..like a puzzle game of sorts..just that it's with people.. does it make sense??

* i almost finished the only chick-flick-like book I've read in my whole life.. and let me tell you I'm laughing so hard I'm cracking my socks off.. you probably already know it.. it's Sophie Kinsella's book "Shopaholic and baby"(she has a whole series with this).. it's to funny.. and yes i judged this book by its cover ...actually the only reason i bought it, is that it had a nice blue-pink sparkly cover:P there.. i said it! :P but it turned out to be fun.. so go ahead read it:)

* and now talking about "the end of summer" ..there's none around here at least.. there's 90 degrees today.. which resembles pretty much like summer (still) to me.. so we gotta put up with that for another while..

* I have to vacuum today.. but my back's hurting so bad for the past few days that I'm having a hard time doing it.. hmm maybe I'll pass and do it on weekend(weekends are always better for the backs.. yes, doctors say that -side note: just a lame excuse to put it off for another day- :)

* oh for a couple of days there was this weird high pinched "eeeeeeeeek" noise coming from our bathroom.. i tried trace it down.. and after a few days i finally found it: it was the draining pipe.. it has a leak and it sounds like a "eeeeeeeek" squeezed out of a squeaky toy.. i hate it.. gotta fix that asap:)

Oh well.. i guess enough random for today!

Aloha Friday

Today is Friday, and in a while i skipped my turn on Aloha Fridays, but today i will have mine again!

Now my Question here is :

What was one thing you'd have done it better on your wedding day?


And my answer is: oh well i think my wedding was perfect .. i wouldn't change anything!!! But i loved being a bride so much that I'd love to have a wedding every year to say the least :P and of course that means lots of new inputs(i got plenty of those) and all kind of themes everytime.. anyway.. but if there would be one thing i totally know i could have done it better.. not change it.. but done it better.. that would be going to a professional hairdresser when coming to my hair. I asked my BFF to help me with it.. and she did the best she could.. it looked great for the first 10 minutes.. but not having professional products at hand that day.. my hair wasn't fixed the best it could have been! SO yeah.. definitely ask a professional hairdresser to do my hair exactly as i had it.. but have him/her use professional products instead! Oh well that would be me.. now your turn guys! share your thing'

Small Upgrade & co

Today I'm in a pretty shiny mood! It's my husband's and I 5th anniversary since we are together. We always celebrate every month all the anniversaries(the day we got together, the day we got engaged, the day we got married) anyway these are small details important to us.. but today we celebrate 5 years of being together..and that's a happy moment in all dimensions, right?!? :)

Oh on another sadder note.. i lost a follower today! I hate when that happens especially since i couldn't even trace him down and beg to stay:P oh well, to the rest of you guys who stayed loyal, i salute you!!!

Now on to some small upgrade i made last night. I had a frame that i bought somewhere in March and never used it by now. I was thinking what to do with it since it's kinda big.. and then it hit me.. there's a perfect spot on this wall that needs to be cheered up! I started with a vintage frame:

What do you guys think? I think it's simple and it gives personality to that wall.
Like it?? Or not so much??

Summer Style - August Edition

OK so I've been gone for a while .. and it's been crazy around here.. my parents came pick up my little brother who stayed with us for the summer.. i already miss the little booger.. he cried when he left ...i guess he got used with us and I'm sure he misses us as much as we do.. anyway hope we'll see him on Christmas or so:)

The Sox Box

ok so you can't figure out what the crack am i talking about.. oh well it's literally a Sox Box.. oh well actually a socks box.. but it's spelled cooler like that;)

Anyway.. this whole thing started with this:


I was sick of finding piles of socks all over the places and all over the drawers.. so i thought of a storage separator kind of thing...enter the Sox Box:


with it's cute little happy stripes


and it's cute etiquette pockets..


it sold me at hello!

Now it was easy to assemble as well... here's the breakdown in pictures:


















Added the etiquette and voila! The Sox Box:


And as cute as it was i didn't want it to feel alone so i bought another pal for The Sox Box to hang around with.. enter The Underworld Box:


Yeah it says "Undies" on it.. all right?!



And now we have Sox Box, Underworld Box, all striped and labeled... peace and happiness ... everything is good again!

So what do you say.. thumbs up for the little upgrade???

August Chillax

So here is August coming all over us and hitting us with its heat right in our faces... oh i hate summer.
Anyway.. since it's weekend already and everybody just wants to chill ..why don't just hang around here and check this eclectic beach cottage i saw over Apartment Therapy.
The owners of this beautiful simple home are keeping this place as an escape from the everyday world.. and they did a fantastic job..look at all the wood and all the finishes:
