Aloha Friday

Today is Friday, and in a while i skipped my turn on Aloha Fridays, but today i will have mine again!
If you have no clue what Aloha Friday is already, go to An Island Life and you'll figure it out pretty fast:)

Now my Question here is :

What was one thing you'd have done it better on your wedding day?

And my answer is: oh well i think my wedding was perfect .. i wouldn't change anything!!! But i loved being a bride so much that I'd love to have a wedding every year to say the least :P and of course that means lots of new inputs(i got plenty of those) and all kind of themes everytime.. anyway.. but if there would be one thing i totally know i could have done it better.. not change it.. but done it better.. that would be going to a professional hairdresser when coming to my hair. I asked my BFF to help me with it.. and she did the best she could.. it looked great for the first 10 minutes.. but not having professional products at hand that day.. my hair wasn't fixed the best it could have been! SO yeah.. definitely ask a professional hairdresser to do my hair exactly as i had it.. but have him/her use professional products instead! Oh well that would be me.. now your turn guys! share your thing'

Aloha Everyone!

This probably sounds vain - but I would have had my photographer take a few more shots of just me. I didn't do bridal portraits at all, and the only photos we have of me that day are from family/friends with a little less photography know-how. Other than that, it was a PERFECT day!! Some of the best memories I have!

Visiting from SITS, I'd have made sure the photographer got at least 1 photo of the Bride by herself. I was very disappointed after picking up our photos to find their were none of me, by myself in my dress. And I wouldn't have been so stubborn - I'd have gotten married in December instead of August. But that was then - 10 years ago! Today - I'm just happy I still have my man.

I wish I hired a photographer who wasn't a scam artist! He charged us, and then only gave us JPEGS and not all of them! Then he disappeared. His address was fake, and his phone and email didn't work anymore. Eventually he wrote us a snail-mail letter explaining that he was holding the rest of the higher quality pictures ransom, and tried to charge us an absolute fortune for them. In the end, we just had to make our own album out of the jpegs. I swear. If I ever see that guy, I'm gonna kick his ass.

I wouldn't have skimped quite so much. We had a very cheap wedding. It was still nice, but I didn't buy a real wedding dress, and I now wish I had, and paid to have my hair done professionally, along with my makeup. I also wish we'd had a dance now, even though my husband hates to dance. Maybe we can have a recommitment ceremony in a few years and I can do some of those things.

I would not change/alter anything. We had a small, simple wedding 18 years ago and we are still in love. :)

I have to say that I'm happy with how my wedding turned out. I had the December wedding and we had just enough snow to make everythign white but not to cause delays and difficulties. It was a beautiful day and I loved it.

I did not have a wedding day really. We got married in a courthouse. I am not sure anything could have been better or worse to be honest.

I would've had more photos taken. It was a small wedding and we just didn't have all that many photos taken.

I think my wedding went very well, I think i would have encouraged my husband to drink a little less but we had fun anyhow.

Stopping by from SITS...I would have eaten more cake because it tasted nasty on our one year anniversary.

I would have done nothing different. It was the perfect day. Sometimes I wonder what it if we had asked for the money for the rehearsal dinner and wedding instead, and the hubs and I could have eloped somewhere romantic. Aloha and take care.
Great song choice BTW. It's too tough for me to hit Sarah's high notes.

We got married in Jamaica and the weather was beautiful the entire time we were there - except on our wedding day. He poured rain, like practically hurricane poured! Thank god I did get my hair professionally done bc if not it would have turned into a big frizz ball. Anyway, I would not have changed the weather because it actually made it memorable. I just wish I would not have stressed out about it so much the morning of and enjoyed our massages and getting our hair and nails done a little more.

I haven't been married yet but at my bat mitzvah, I would slow down and take everything in. The whole weekend passed in a whirlwind and I actually don't remember much of it.

I had a great wedding. Nothing really went wrong either. I am not sure I can think of anything.

OK we eloped...and I would still elope....probably would have eaten lunch instead of just sitting there watching Greg eat and asking myself over and over "What have I done".......yeah that would probably be it. Hindsight 16 1/2 yrs married, 4 kids, 22yrs together hindsight!!

How sweet of you! I know there are so many things I would do over with my wedding, simply because it was very rushed, and in the middle of the winter. I have always wanted it in the fall, but what can you do? We didn't want to wait a year more.
Stopping by from SITS. Happy Sharefest!

I'd have had the wedding at the beach. I always wanted to, don't know why I didn't!

Honestly, I would do the WHOLE thing over again.

We had so many things go wrong.

I know it's more about the actual getting married part, and I love my husband. It just would have been nice if things had went the way I wanted them to.

I wouldn't change a thing. We eloped at the courthouse, and it was absolutely PERFECT. Just what I wanted, the most fun thing ever. Loved it. :D
