Today is Friday, it's time to relax and that only means it's time for Aloha Friday! If you have no clue what Aloha Friday is already, go to An Island Life and you'll figure it out pretty fast:)
Now my Question here is:
Where did you first live with your spouse after you got married?
Well we've been living on rent ever since we got married. We decided the next step will naturally be to buy a house one day. Til then, rent it is! Now is your time to share your fare!!!:)
Aloha Everyone!

Well, Hubby had to go back to Korea for 6 months after our wedding so our first place actually together was England. Buckingham, England to be exact. We had a 3 bed, 1 bath semi detached house. It was lovely!
In a house he'd bought before I met him behind his parents house. Even though we were right behind them, we'd go weeks or more without seeing them.
He had a tiny apartment and this was here we lived with boxes of crap lining the wall. I wanted to get rid of everything! I like space.
Now we have a home and I fear it's getting crowded.
For me, the less the better.
We lived in a tiny beach house in Panama City Beach, FL, near the Navy base where he worked. I don't miss that place!
Well, I am not married, but I wonder about that a lot.
We lived together in an apartment before we were married for two years. After we were married we continued to live there for another two years.
We rented a three bedroom house for 175.00 per month.
We had an apartment since before we got married. Made life a lot easier.

We were building our house so we moved in with my parents to save up money.
We lived in our house. We starting living in our new house before we got married. Before that we were living back in our home town in a condo. Then we moved and lived with his parents for three months. Then we got our first house and that is where we are now.
In an apartment in WI.
I moved into the apartment that he had when he moved here before we got married. We made the mistake and should have looked at houses. Little did we know that by the time we were ready, the market would go crazy and would price us out of a lot.
In an itty-bitty tiny 2 bedroom house. Ahh, good times. =)
Happy Aloha Friday!
After we got married, we were able to live in one of my most favourite place on earth. My grandparents farm house. My grandparents had gone to nursing home and it was sitting empty. We stayed for a year and then were able to buy our own home. Loved it!! Only wish we could afford to go back and buy it now!! I would love for my kids to grow up in that setting.
We lived in a upper apartment above a hair cutting place in Menasha. I really loved my landlord. She was awesome. I miss the hardwood floors.
Brunswick, Maine ~ Both our children were born there! A beautiful part of the country! Hubby was still in the Navy then and that was his first squadron assignment after 3 months in Bermuda!
Our first Military Duty station in 29 Palms, CA. We were in base housing, which had no A/C and we were in the desert with 120 degree heat....
Our first home was in Brunswick, Maine!!! (Navy!)
We lived together in Westport, Ct in a tiny cottage on a farm. We rented there until winter 2000, and moved to Savannah, Ga. We bought our first house there, and have since moved 7 times, 2 other states. Aloha and take care.
In an apartment.. Hope to get a house as soon as he gets home!
What a great question: We lived in a third floor apartment which was railroad style=enter into the living room, followed by the bedroom, then the kitchen and after crossing a hallway came a bathroom. Quite unique.
Kudos to you living in Germany. I was born there.
We lived with his parents for 2 weeks until we found an apartment.
We lived in the Los Angeles area in a small one bedroom apartment. After I found out I was pregnant we rented a house. Right after I had my daughter, the owner put the house up for sale and we purchased it!
In a one bedroom apartment in Buffalo.
Cleveland (Ohio). Not far from where we're at now, 20 yrs later, lol. Only when we first got married we lived/owned a double house...but quickly got sick of renters. Now we just have our regular ol single home.
It sounds like a romantic little place!
Our first after we were married was an upstairs flat in NY with 2 beds, 1 bath, and a washer and dryer doubled as counterspace in the kitchen. We have so many good memories from that first place!
We lived in a 1,200 sq. ft apartment in Gretna, NE. We loved it is was so spacious and we even had our own laundry. We still have very fond memories of it but it seems so long ago.
