I like to read in bed before going to sleep - thinking about the plot and not my own life and concerns helps turn off my brain usually - and it's fun!
I like taking a warm bath. On my exam period I have even taken sleeping pills.
I'll TRY and destress by meditating. Or I just have to tune everything out. Relax in the tub or just shut the door and watch tv in bed with no 'hey moms' in earshot.
I just lay down and watch TV. I get tired fast that way and fall asleep before the show I watch is over.
I usually read or edit picture on the computer to make myself sleepy. :)
I don't have any special techniques. I just try.. if it doesn't work, I lay in the living room with the tv on until I finally go to bed.
I try and tell myself to stop thinking..
Antihistamines before bed help me breath and sleep :)
Have a great Friday!

Yoga.
i make sure that all the alarm clocks are working, then i usually doze off from studying some more.
I do have that problem sometimes too when I just have too much on my mind that when I'm sleeping, I'm not "officially" sleeping but just running those things through my head over and over. What works for me is to have a notepad, write down what I'm thinking quickly, perhaps it's a list of what I have to do, then go back to sleep and that works pretty well. It's almost like your telling your brain not to worry that it won't forget what needs to be done because you have now wrote it down. Go figure. :)
Good luck on finals. :)

I have had insomnia since I was a teenager. The only way for me to sleep if I'm under alot of pressure or feel stressed is to take a sleeping pill. Otherwise I will lay away for hours !
I have some tea. That usually helps.
I do not, so I watch something and it tend to help me come down and go to sleep.
I don't really have anything good to do. Baths sound great and reading! If anything I'd take time for yourself with all the studying time before bed!
Have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
No idea, because when I have stress rarely sleep well.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Happy Friday and weekend!!
Going to sleep has never been a problem for me. However, if I were stressed I would probably read or play my Nintendo DS.
I don't get much sleep at all when I am stressed.
I like to read or watch tv to get my mind off of it. Sometimes even that doesn't help though. Good luck on your exams and hope you get some rest!
I do something that I like. Usually knit/read/blog/watch television to try to relax.
I can't say that I've ever had a hard time going to sleep, but when I lay down on the couch to watch TV, it puts me right out!
I love a good mug of hot chocolate!
benadryl or i turn on lmn and just let it put me to sleep.
I sleep with the radio on and I just try to listen to the music with my eyes closed.
Reading ususally puts me to sleep, but if I don't feel like reading I lay on the couch, and put on the TV, and shortly I'm out like a light, but don't put any good movie on it'll take longer to fall asleep, but you will eventually. I'm your latest follower. Hope you can find time to follow me.
Well, oops I should've looked first I'm already following you... good luck on the sleeping prob!
Benadryl. I usually itch when I am stressed, so Benadryl helps with both.
Take Tylenol PM and a warm bath or hot shower.
I don't have a problem sleeping at all whther I'm stressed or not.
I just fall asleep when I need to.
Have you tried listening to soothing music? warm milk?
bath isn't good when you need to sleep.
Good luck with studying. I hope you do get the rest you need.
It's really hard! Dr. Oz gave a tip to count backwards from 300 by multiples of 3...I have tried it a few times and it seems to help :)
When it's really bad, I have to take a pill. Otherwise I knit or read to get sleepy and de-stress.
sometimes I have to take ambien
