And as always today is not just a regular Friday, it's also Aloha Friday! If you have no clue what Aloha Friday is already, go to An Island Life and you'll figure it out pretty fast:)
Now my Question here is:
Blogger or Wordpress?? and why??
My answer:
Definitely Blogger. It's more versatile and you can mess with it more! Even tough Wordpress has a more clean-ish look interface, Blogger gives you the possibility to create that personal interface and if you know a thing or two about HTML and CSS you can do that better actually in Blogger. Also it's easier to make the transition to a .com domain:) I know Blogger has its tantrums too, but who doesn't, right?!? Just saying:) The never-ending drama: Superman vs. Spiderman, Angelina Jolie vs. Jennifer Aniston, Blogger vs. Wordpress.. Now what's your personal choice and why??
Happy Friday!

Blogger. Never really looked into wordpress. I am comfy here so I am staying! Happy Firday!
i'm still undecided! although, right now, blogger's my choice. i see you even changed your little favicon up top... nice work! visting from the follow me, chickadee blog hop :)
I like how you compared the two blog sites to different famous characters/people. I have never seen wordpress and really like blogger. I tried to do my blog on godaddy but it wasn't as fun as google, so I switched back real quick.
I see that you are giving technical help. I need to know how to center a header and how to add pictures and text to them. I've read all these different tutorials and I'm having a hard time. Any advice? Thanks, Katharine from http://katspurrfectboutique.blogspot.com/
Thanks for adding linky. Followed your blog username: Rajee
Would love if you also follow my blog, http://momsfocusonline.com
I started with wordpress too, but soon decided that it was too complicated and not as user friendly as blogger. I'm with Kim, I'm comfy here with Blogger.

I gotta say blogger! There's a template to make your blogger blog look like a wordpress blog so my blog is getting a makeover very soon with it!
Wordpress, blogger has been going crazy locking people out and deleting blogs. Once you understand Wordpress it has way more options but it is a learning curve
I think blogger is easier to work with. I have tried Word but I really could figure it out. I start with blogger so I guess I got spoiled.
My Aloha Friday Link for you
I use both however, the blogger commenting system is what has persuaded me to use WordPress on my main blog.
Have a great Friday!

When I first started my blog I looked into both blogger and wordpress and blogger seemed a lot more user friendly to me.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I am following you back! :) Have a great day!
There are pros and cons to both. I'm on blogger now and I like it. The main reason I won't switch? I HATE entering giveaways on wordpress sites and often find I avoid them for the very fact that they're on Wordpress.
TGIF!
Blogger, cause that's where I started.
Here's my thing. If you listen too much to the LOUDness of it all, you'll think you don't have a good thing.
I started blogging with blogger and it's easy and friendly to work with for me.
But it seems everyone is moving to WP and telling us what we are missing out on and etc etc etc. And I admit, I feel like I need to move to WP too, but guess what keeps me back? I don't have the $$ to put down on a domain and all that stuff.
Right now blogger is free and has been good to me, even throughout the hiccups.
Of course they tell you how much better your stats and visitors and etc will be in WP and you just want to go.
Then there is the clean interface which I really like, but I am looking into getting a wordpress to blogger template.
I feel for me that I should stay right here with Blogger. Plus they are working on their program too, albeit not aggressively.
So for me, who doesn't really know that much about computer code, I'll have to say Blogger.
Was that long winded? :) lol
aloha!
I am with Blogger for now. Blogger is definitely easier to begin with. The basic wordpress template is so ugly! So, either fork over an investment to get started, or browse some free blogger templates and BAM! insta-blog!
Yeah, I know Blogger has issues. But, it is a big platform. I think Wordpress will eventually have its own hiccups as more people make the switch.
Thanks for dropping by... Followed you back and grabbed ur badge.. *hugz
So nice to meet you and following back too:)
thanks for stopping by my blog and following! i'm following back.
have a good weekend =)
I love Blogger, but we are looking at wordpress for a photography site..
Thanks for the blog comment! You have such great info here!!! Happy day to you!

I have been seeing so many people switch to wordpress and often wonder why? I've been happy with blogger, especially with their new design options. Thanks for visiting. Off to check out Aloha Friday.
Dana
i like blogger...

LOL

New follower here from Friday Follow!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. It was so nice to "meet" you! I hope you are having an amazing Friday!
I'm with blogger and, like the others, I'm comfortable here. I do know some1 who wants to switch to Wordpress from Blogger tho'. My question is- what comment platform does everyone like best? I'm thinking of switching to Disqus...
Thanks for the follow... I'm following back. :) Happy Friday!
Thanks for stopping by, I'm returning the love for Happy friend Friday:-) and I'm now following you. Great tips, should have found you months ago.
I do agree the look of wordpress is really clean but you can achieve that with blogger too.
I like how I can mess with blogger, its easy to manipulate but i've never had wordpress.
Thanks for joining my hope, hop to see you next week (lol)
have a great weekend ;)
I am with Blogger now so I know nothing about Wordpress! Have a great weekend!
I totally agree about blogger (the stats are much better!) on all of your counts & yet here I am, still on wordpress. Mostly so my inlaws don't find my blog again. *sigh...*
I use and love blogger. Maybe you can tell me how to add a favicon? I have the image, I just don't know what to do with it. Nothing makes sense i've read. I shrunk it to size that's about it. Thanks for visiting, following you now.
I tried messing with wordpress before starting back here at blogger. I couldn't really figure out how to make wordpress work lol. Thanks for fallowing and commenting
Paige
I'm a Blogger girl! It's just so much more user friendly than WP. Following you back from the Hop! Thx. :)
Never used WordPress although I was considering switching. I'm not crazy about blogger but maybe that's because I don't know what I'm doing ;)
Thanks for following my blog, I'm now following you back. Off to look around your blog, see what I can learn! Have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Following you right back!
My husband and I were having this conversation yesterday, and I totally agree with you - I love Blogger! Thanks for your helpful posts, gotta go back to some earlier ones and check them out! Thanks for the follow too - following ya back!
Blogger because I don't really want to pay for WP...heard it was harder to learn also!
I am going to steal you button today...I love your blog!
Yeah for Aloha Friday! My choices....Blogger, Jennifer Anniston and Spiderman. Following now thru Friday - Follow. (I'm really enjoying reading your HTML tips. I can use a lot of help in that area.) Thanks! Pam @ Sallygoodin
I am not really sure why but i just started using blogger. I like the look of wordpress much better. Oh ya another reason i went with blogger is because I have a program which I can create any template I want..I am also now following you...
Have you written about moving to a dot com domain yet? If you have, can you direct me to it? If not, can you please?
Blogger! I tried Wordpress & didn't like it.
I wanted to thank you for visiting my blog last week. Your blog is great and I'll be back often.
Enjoy the weekend.

Thanks so much for all of the blogging info on your site. I am new and I have a lot to learn! Following you from http://homemadehodgepodge.blogspot.com
I've gone back and forth and I honestly thought that Blogger was more user friendly for an amateur blogger like me so that's what I've stuck with. I'm following you via the blog hop :)
Thanks for being a blogging inspiration to me! I have chosen you for the Versatile Blogger Award!

Blogger for sure. I have both and it just takes too much effort to make the full transition to wordpress. Blogger is so quick and easy! Plus I'm totally sucked in by all the google world - gmail, voice, docs, picassa, blogger...
Following from Friendly Friday. Great Blog. Wishing you the best for a wonderful week to come. Best wishes and if you want stop by and check me out. I'd appreciate it.

I like Blogger so far. I tried Wordpress.com but was irritated by it. Maybe the paid Wordpress.org is better. I just find Blogger easy to use, and lately they have been really working on upgrades, most of which are great! I have found free templates that have clean interfaces and am very pleased.
Never tried wordpress...so I can't say. Like Blogger though.
I am thrilled to drop in on your lovely blog! I just recently started my blog and I am flying by the seat of my pants! Thanks so much for sharing your wealth of information with us newbies!
I've used both and I choose self-hosted wordpress definitely. I have created a wordpress.com page and thought the limitations were awful.
For someone wanting a completely free blog, I would recommend blogger, but for true blog customization, self-hosted wordpress is the way to go.
