styroFoam It Like It's Hot :)

I had some free time yesterday and i discovered this tiny piece of styrofoam laying somewhere behind my paint buckets. And i thought i can make something out of it. So here's the break-down:

1 piece of Styrofoam:

1 piece of leftover fabric:

some cute bobby pins:

fold and wrap the best you can:

add some gift ribbon you have around:

and then, voila!!

you wonder what this is.. let me clear it for you

you see now??? it's a jewelry display :)
I thought it would be easier to see my jewelry when in a hurry. so what do you guys think.. easy-peasy right???

Hi Lauren!

I would be glad to help you.. the only thing that i would need is a picture of the exact doors you want to dress. It would help knowing the exact height of the sliding doors, then the width of the space between the top of the doors and the ceiling..cause that differs in many cases.. and some other small tit bits like these :)
Also it would be helpful to let me know the length of your blinds and what kind of system do they have. But a picture would help me see that for sure
So I'm looking forward to your email:)

Happy Wednesday!

I think it's FABULOUS! It's amazing what you can do with random pieces around the house - I'm totally borrowing the idea!

Thanks for visiting my blog!!

What an awesome idea! I wish I came up with stuff like this...I might actually borrow the idea and use this to hang up snapshots in my baby's room, MUCH prettier than a bulletin board!!

Dropping buy from the SITS site. I would have found the peice of stryrofoam and thought "off to the trash with you" and never thought anything about it! That is the coolest thing I have ever seen! Also, are you reading the Twilight series, or have you already read them? I LOVE that series, and thought that might be something we have in common! Hope to talk to you soon!

I need you to visit my blog and help me with ideas on my backyard.

I'm seriously decorating challenged.

I want to make something now. I need more great ideas. I'm going back to your blog.
