Ok people this is my last post before the holidays begin so i'll keep it short but random:) Now let us start:

* I have to move my freakin' ass and start cooking for holidays.. I've been so busy trying to do well in the baking department that i kinda forgot we have to eat something else besides cookies:P

* We're spending the Christmas over my BIL and SIL this year.. same deal as last year.. nothing too exciting but i think it will be fun.. as always:)

* Is it wrong to spend all the money you received on Christmas(as gift) on bills??? I thought so too:)

OK i promised i'll keep it short and i want to deliver..

Now let us start:

* I started the Christmas shopping.. finally:P.. i still have a few things, but at least i started... right?:P

* Also period cramps suck!!! Let's just say I'm glad this Christmas and New Year I'm off the shift:)

*Oh and you know what makes the period cramps go easier???? BAKING!!!! yeah i know.. I'm a weirdo.. but baking brings me joy.. and made my house smell like vanilla and cinnamon.. and that's always the best feeling:) Speaking of which I'm almost done baking.. I have 5 types of cookies so far.. i know i want to make 2 more that my husband really loves.. and then i guess I'll be done:)

* oh and to top it off, we had our first snow!!! YAAAAAAAAY!!.. well "snow" is a big word.. let's just say a few snow flakes .. it didn't last more than 1 hour or so.. but at least I've seen snow this year.. YAAAAAAAY!!!

* sadly i have to study in the meanwhile too cause after the holidays I'm starting my winter semester ..shoot:P

Now my Question here is:

Do you put your gifts under the tree long before Christmas or on the Christmas Eve?

And my answer: Last year we put them under the tree long before Christmas Eve, but i guess this year we won't do that as it would be to easy to guess what we got for each other. Or if not guess at least hear my husband asking "is it a ... ? or is it a ...? it's a ... isn't it?" .. so to avoid my head exploding with questions, i say we put them under the tree on the Christmas Eve.
Now how about you guys? When do you put your gifts under the tree??

Now let us start:

* my birthday was a hit! my husband surprised me and called in sick so he can be with me and so did i and we went to the mall bright and early, when it was less crowded, and we wandered around the stores, got some presents for ME (did i tell you how i LOOOOOOOOVE presents?!?:).. and then we ate there and played some guitar hero in a game store there.. and later that night my BIL and SIL came over with pizza and all was fun fun fun:) all in all good day!

* oh and i got a cute sexy silk nightgown... ooo it's ZEEEEXY i don't know if it's more of a treat for me or is it for my husband:P we both agreed it's a tie:D

* ok now enough about birthday, today it's our 2 years anniversary!!! yaaaaaaaaay!!! we're gonna par-teeee tonight:)

* we went to grandma' this weekend.. it was ok-ish after all.. she didn't make lots of comments and i could bare with it:) we ate lots of cookies.. Oma bakes well if nothing else.. so it was a good thing bad thing kind of deal in there. We got some cookies for home too:) oh and i received some body care gifts too.. YAAAAAAY...(did i tell you how i LOOOOOOOOVE gifts?!?:)..

* oh we got to see St. Nikolaus and his magic train! Here's some pics..




now tell me you wouldn't want to meet him.. i so wanted to be a kid right then:)

Do you have an artificial Christmas Tree or a natural one?

And my answer is: we finally bought a natural one! We wouldn't have, but at the begining of December seems like we got a good deal... later on, closer to Christmas, they're either sold out pretty much or really expensive... unless you buy it on Christmas night(like we did last year).. but since we got a good deal on a natural one right now, why pas it???.. it smells beautifully and it feels like Christmas to me:)

Now let us start:

* we started decorating already... i know it may be kind of early .. but who cares???:P i like how our tree looks and all the little lights.. oh so Christmasy:) I'll have to share pictures later!

* on Saturday we plan on visiting my HG.. she's a nice lady but sometimes she gets so tacky .. she is this kind of person who likes things done a certain way and everything has to go accordingly to HER plan.. anyway i generally get past that.. i know that this is how she is.. she tells things as SHE thinks they are and everybody has to deal with that... well that's ok generally... anyway.. we called her to ask if she will be home on Saturday cause we want to visit her and seems like we're on board ..let's see how that one goes:P

* the plane tickets are just too darn expensive .. if a last minute deal won't pop up we might not get to see our friends these holidays.. and this simply sucks!!!

* today is world's AIDS day and i salute that!

* i started baking sugar cookies for these holidays.. they are yummy.. my husband and i LOVE 'em!!! now i have to get ready for baking cinnamon rolls, brownies and macadamia nuts cookies:)
