Do you put your Thanksgiving stuffing inside the turkey or besides it?
We generally put the stuffing inside the turkey/chicken(yeah we do chicken too because we like it more:P). We have potato salads, corn and pies to go on the side. Ah just talking about it makes me hungry:) Now it's your turn to share the yummy secret: in or out?

I do the stuffing outside the turkey - I fill the cavity with apples instead, and have the stuffing cooking in a crockpot. ;)

Hello fellow SITS girl. Thank you for the opportunitty to blog hop. I am really enjoying meeting new people. we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the miserable UK but Turkey is nearly always the meal of choice at Christmas and I usually put the stuffing inside the turkey, unless I've had to much to drink then it's anyone's guess where I put it. Looking forward to checking out the blogs.
The comment won't save grrrr. Thank you for this blog hop. I'm really enjoying all the hops. I try to put the stuffing in the turkey (Christmas - no Thanksgiving here)but it depends on how much I've had to drink beforehand....it can be anybody's guess as to where I might stuff it if I've had too much Christmas wine!

I follow Alton Brown's process for roasting a turkey, and his theory is "stuffing is evil!" I actually stuff my bird with aromatics for roasting, and leave the "stuffing" for the side.

I use my MIL's stuffing recipe. It is out of the turkey and has a real corn bread base. I make it from scratch and it is my husband's "must have" dish.
