Boost My Blog Friday 5/06

Hello everybody and happy early Mother's Day! Wishing everybody a great time with your families this weekend! And since today is Friday, that means it's time to catch up with Boost My Blog Friday here on Design It Chic!

For those of you new here, it's very simple.. the only rule is: no rules!! That's right!! This blog-hop is supposed to be a boost in our blogs' asses... friends-wise:)!!
So just make sure you link with us, follow us as the host (and leave us a comment so we know you follow us and return the love back:) And then feel free to follow whoever you want to, leave nice comments, send them love notes and chocolate boxes *WOW scratch that last part:P* and don't forget to do the happy dance!

If you join with us on Boost My Blog Friday, please take your time and leave a comment, so we know you're participating with us and maybe pay you a visit:) Thanks!

And as always, today we have another question for you:
If you were to describe Mother's Day using a color, what would that be?

Definitely green. For some reason Mother's Day sounds very springy and happy and what better color to describe spring than green, right?! Pretty lame theory but it works:) Now we can go on and on about the hues of green.. ranging from lime to olive greens, but that would be too much for a post, so let's just keep the generic "GREEN". Now don't forget to share your take on Mother's Day in colors and also find out what other fellow bloggers say too:) Let's get this party started!

And, if you missed anything here at Design It Chic, you can now check the new Blog Tips section at the top of the page, if you need more tips on building up your blog, new blog design tutorials, search engine optimization tricks or all the easy steps to improve your blog's traffic! Happy Mother's Day!

Back again for a new Friday (well ours is already close to lunchtime). I think mother's day would be red - a bright nice red with lot's of hearts. But out of the packages the kids sneaked into the house from kindergarten and school the last days it seems to be more bright pink this year :-). Have a wonderful mother's day! Greetings from Germany - Katja

Since I taught kindergarten, I realized rainbow is a color. So I pick rainbow to describe mothers day. Mothers bring so much love, life and joy to our hearts. Just like a rainbow. Wow! If that didn't sound cheesy, I don't know what does. Lol!

Happy Friday - The color I choose to describe Mother's Day would be yellow.. representing happiness..

Dropping in for Boost My Blog this morning and am following along here... :-)

For me, I would have to say that if I were to designate a color to Mother's Day, it would have to be yellow. It was my own mom's favorite color, and it reminds me of a sunny spring day.

Thank you for hosting the hop!

I think of Mother's Day as soft pink. Mother's are soft and pink is feminine. I suppose this is why I would choose such a delicate color.

If Mother’s Day were a colour, it would be fushia - a little bit of red for the husband and a little bit of pink for the kiddies (lol)! Come on over and check out my first blog hop please!

Already following you. Thanks for the blog hop. Wasn't sure if you wanted the answer to the question here or not.
If I were to describe Mother's Day using a color it would have to be yellow. I love what you said about green and spring. But the first thing that popped into my mind was yellow, for the brightness of the color representing the bright lights we should be in our family's lives. Also I see the bright yellow flowers like daffodils and the dandelions that my children love to bring me.
Blessings and happy Mother's Day.

I love all the tips and tricks you share.

By the way, my mothers day would be pink. Pink can be soft or wild and crazy. It says I love you without being harsh like red.Pink is forever cheerful and girly. It reminds me of life starting over each spring....I'm so sappy:)

Thank you for hosting.. new follower! :) Hard to describe my mom as a color. I wish she were more bright -- like yellow. But she's a homebody and sometimes that makes me think... blah, brown! But she's a great mom regardless of the color I think she is! :) Thanks for hosting!

Hello my name is dork! *sigh* so I commented on the wrong blog hop for Friday.

It's been a really really really really long day and we leave it at that. =)

I would choose the color yellow.
It is my mom's favorite color!
