Pretty tins???

For the past few weeks i gathered all the tins that i had left over after eating all the sweet corn in the world.. i thought that i can come up with something to use them for... i looked and looked over the internet to see people experiencing with these little buggers.... To see the good points and the no-no's when playing around with tins.

After a few days of debating, i came down to my last 3 choices, and i want you guys out there to tell me which of them do you find cuter than the rest.. and help me pick the final one:)

So what do you lovely ladies think???
I like more the flowers centerpieces idea, but my tins are not that tall.. they're around 2.4".. so i dunno how that would turn out eventually... as for the pencil holder.. it would look nice but i already have 2 other pencil holders that are of course my husband's(so they are more masculine) but then again the office is his space so i kinda have to respect that.
Now the spices tin.. well, while being to small for flower arrangements, they are also kinda to big for the spices tin..plus i dunno if the spices would be freshly stored in them(since they have no lid).. oh i wish i can be decided for once:P oh well this is supposed to be fun .. but i still need your opinion!
So help ladies!!!

I'd go for the flowers. Are you going to post a photo of what you finally do with them?

I, too, would go for the flowers - you can pick some short stems and/or blooms and they will really brighten up your table (or wherever else you choose to put them!). The spice-box idea is nice too, but you have to have tins with lids, like you said, and finding re-usable tins in somewhat difficult.

Can't wait to see what you decide, though!

I love the flower idea. Maybe you could put a few small blooms in the small tins...? I agree, I don't think it will keep spices fresh without a lid.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I like the tins with the flowers. I had something like that in my kitchen window (until my kitties decided it was more fun to knock it over every day!). I had some antique tins and have no idea what to do with them either! I can't wait to see what you do!

I LOVE the flower idea!! Go get some random flowers and just try it, alternate the heights of the flowers also to get a staggered look. Then pictures please!

I love that first picture! And in shorter cans you can plant succulents! They are adorable. Post pictures when you do your own!
